EQUIPMENT RETURN AND BANQUET INFORMATION

Due to the Dartmouth High Football team's playoff game in Brockton on Tuesday 12/2, we need to re-schedule the TM, MM and 2 JPW equipment turn-ins from that Tuesday 12/2 to Thursday 12/4 from 6-8pm. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause anyone but the board members, some of whom have players on the team are going to the game to show support for the team and will not be able to be at Bridge Street to collect the equipment. Also, anyone who is going to the game, make sure you have your player wear their game jerseys!

NOW ON THURSDAY 12/4 for the TM, MM and the 2 JPW teams from 6-8pm.
REMAINS THE SAME, WEDNESDAY12/3 for the PW, JM and the Midget teams from 6-8pm

The turn in will be held at 21 Bridge Street, the same location that the equipment was handed out in the pre-season. If a player can not make it to either date, they must get their equipment to their team mom or the coach before that date. Bills for equipment that is not returned will be going out that following week. We are waiting until December so that the boys are able to wear their game jersey to the Thanksgiving Day High School game, which is home this year to show support for the team.

We will have apparel for sale at the turn in and Banquet tickets. The tickets will be $25 for adults and $15 for siblings (players/cheerleaders are no charge). It will be held at Whites, on Sunday, Feb 8, 2009. The most important part about the banquet is, that we will once again offer a chance to register early for next season. This will be the ONLY chance to do so. If you do not register at the banquet, you will have to go to open registration in May.

The DYFL is sad to announce the passing of one of its beloved friends, Bruce Texeira. For those of you who might not know Bruce by name, you've probably enjoyed some of his cooking at a football game. Bruce and his great friend Art volunteered at every DYFL home game to run the kitchen. Bruce was a special man who donated so much of his time to the DYFL and one who will be greatly missed.
