Please read this important message about the upcoming DYFL season.

Dear DYFL Family -

Welcome to the 4th season of the DYFL! We are happy to have all new and returning players for another exciting season of football and cheerleading. You have been given four forms that need to be returned to us at the paperwork turn in which is going to be held on June 24th and June 25th from 5-7pm at Crapo Field. Only completed packets will be accepted… Please be sure that all forms are filled out completely and your child’s name is filled out exactly as it appears on their birth certificate on each form and that you include your health insurance information. Also, you must bring a copy of your child’s 4th quarter report card. The doctor’s form must be signed by your doctor. Pop Warner will accept doctor’s form that you get at a physical BUT that physical must have taken place AFTER January 1st 2009. Otherwise the form given to you must be signed. All new players must bring an original birth certificate/abstract if you didn’t bring it to registration. Any returning players do not need a birth certificate. New families feel free to ask me or any returning family if you have any questions about the forms.

VERY IMPORTANT- All paperwork MUST be turned in on time, either on June 24th or June 25th. Your child will NOT be allowed on the field if the paperwork is late. Please let me now ASAP if you can not make it.

  This form must be dated after January 1, 2009 and then submitted to your LOCAL Pop Warner organization. Section II must be completed in its entirety ONLY by a Licensed State Examiner (medical doctor, nurse practitioner, etc. – this may vary by state).

The DYFL is sad to announce the passing of one of its beloved friends, Bruce Texeira. For those of you who might not know Bruce by name, you've probably enjoyed some of his cooking at a football game. Bruce and his great friend Art volunteered at every DYFL home game to run the kitchen. Bruce was a special man who donated so much of his time to the DYFL and one who will be greatly missed.
